The thing

Convey Communications is a PR and content specialist, celebrating all things communications and content. Founder Kristly Bartlett needed a brand that felt clear, approachable and confident, and that held together everywhere a small agency shows up.

The mark: a custom wordmark inside a speech bubble.

Illustration style: flat, warm, one palette.

The thinking

Say one thing well. Repeat it with discipline.

Express the purpose in the mark itself. A custom wordmark set inside a speech bubble makes the point before a single word is read. Then say one thing well and repeat it with discipline.

The problem

A communications business is judged on how clearly it communicates. The brief was tone as much as form: warm and human without tipping into casual, confident without feeling corporate.
