Privacy policy
The full privacy policy for Thing King is being finalised and will be published on this page before the site launches publicly. What follows describes how the site handles personal information today; it is not the final policy text.
How your information is handled today
- Who is responsible. Thing King, Centurion, South Africa. Reach us at hello@thing-king.co.za.
- What the enquiry form collects. Your name, email address, business or project name, a description of the project, and optionally a timeframe, budget range and a link you choose to share.
- Why. To reply to your enquiry, quote the work and deliver it. Enquiries are not added to a marketing list.
- Where it goes. The enquiry is delivered to the studio inbox through the site’s email delivery service, and replies come from the studio directly.
- Analytics. The site can use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are useful. It loads only if you accept the cookie notice, and you can change that choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
- Your rights. You can ask what we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected or deleted by emailing hello@thing-king.co.za. The final policy will set out retention periods and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in full.
